Tom Clegg - Rider

Tom Clegg began racing in 2005 in club events on his dads CBR600RR Honda 600, recording an impressive debut season, quickly becoming one of the front runners in the Derby Phoenix championship. 2006 saw him move into the highly competitive British Championship, racing in the Superstocks 1000cc class. Tom was soon impressing the paddock during the season, culminating in having a brand new Suzuki GSXR1000 supported by Kenny Hill Construction, Kais Suspension, Enterprise Van Hire and Autopaint for the 2007 British championship. It proved to be a terrific year for the 22 year old Rochdale rider, only missing a highly coveted top eight position in the championship due to just two crashes, both not the fault of Tom’s, but that’s racing, as they say!
